In order to assist women and children in establishing violence-free lives, Advocates Against Family Violence, Inc. and Hope's Door provides the following services:
- Temporary emergency wheelchair accessible shelter, food and clothing
- 24-hour crisis line and peer crisis intervention counseling.
- Information and referral for community resources
- Advocacy for welfare, legal and medical systems.
- Volunteer training for crisis services staff.
- On-going support groups for survivors of domestic violence.
- Support groups for children
- Community education addressing issues of domestic violence, providing speakers for groups and agencies.
- Continued support for women who have left the shelter and are making a transition into a violence-free lifestyle.
- Support and services to rape and sexual abuse survivors.
Advocates Against Family Violence, Inc. and Hope's Door offers safety, confidentiality, and support to all women and children who are survivors of violence regardless of race, ethnicity, physical ability, age, religion or sexual orientation.
